How Wetlether works

When you use Wetlether, your messages and files go directly between the Wetlether app and a private cloud box provisioned under your account. That box is yours. Wetlether's servers do not sit in the middle of your conversations, do not receive copies of your data, and do not log what you ask or what the AI responds.

AI responses are generated by your own provider accounts — Anthropic (Claude), OpenAI (GPT), Google (Gemini), xAI (Grok), and Perplexity — under each provider's own terms and privacy policies. Wetlether is the app that saddles them together; it is not the model provider.

What we collect

We collect the minimum necessary to run your subscription:

• Account email address — to identify your subscription and send you essential service messages (receipts, critical security notices). Nothing else.
• Device push token — only if you explicitly enable push notifications. Used solely to deliver notifications you have requested. Never used for tracking or advertising.

That is the complete list. We do not collect device identifiers, location data, behavioral analytics, or any data about the content of your conversations.

What we do not do

• We do not read, copy, store, index, mine, or train on your conversations, code, or files.
• We do not serve ads or use any advertising network.
• We do not include third-party analytics SDKs or trackers in the app.
• We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with data brokers, marketing firms, or any third party for their own use.
• We do not share your data with AI providers beyond what you explicitly direct by using the app — and when you do, you are communicating with your own accounts under your own subscriptions.

Your AI provider accounts

Wetlether routes your requests to AI providers using credentials you supply. Each provider (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, xAI, Perplexity) has its own privacy policy that governs how it handles the content you send through its API. We encourage you to review those policies. Wetlether does not receive, store, or inspect the content exchanged between your box and those providers.

Data retention and deletion

Your account email is retained while your subscription is active. You can request permanent deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing crew@wetlether.com. We will complete deletion within 30 days.

Security

Your private cloud box is provisioned with network isolation by default. Subscription data (your email) is stored with industry-standard encryption at rest and in transit. We do not store payment card details — payments are processed by Stripe under their own security certification.

Children

Wetlether is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify active subscribers by email before the changes take effect. The effective date below reflects the most recent update.
